Today marks the release of an album that we’re all very excited about – Fifty Shades of Grey – The Classical Album. One of the most highly-anticipated classical releases in recent memory, this album is already topping charts across the country and introducing an entirely new audience to classical music!
The 15 tracks which author E L James selected for the album run the gamut from the familiar (Pachelbel’s timeless Canon in D) to lesser-known gems (Canteloube’s heart-stoppingly gorgeous Bailero from the ‘Songs of the Auvergne’), but all of them work together to create and sustain a mood of alluring sensuality and beauty, a perfect accompaniment to these books which have captivated millions of readers around the world.
